No other vinyl window manufacturer has demonstrated this level of commitment to the ENERGY STAR program, and its efforts in the conservation of energy.

The ENERGY STAR program is a voluntary partnership among the US Department of Energy and the US Environmental Protection Agency. It is designed to assist consumers in the recognition of energy efficient products and promote the environmental and economic benefits of these products through the ENERGY STAR label and other program activities.

Alside Windows, when utilizing the ClimaTech® Insulated Glass Package featuring Low-E glass and argon gas, are ENERGY STAR qualified for all 50 states.

Window products qualify for the ENERGY STAR program when they meet or exceed the minimum guidelines for energy efficiency, set forth by the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC). Other consumer products such as washers, refrigerators, audio/visual systems and computers receive the ENERGY STAR label when they exceed the minimum federal energy consumption standards. These figures will vary, however, from product to product.

The ENERGY STAR program is important for window products because this qualification is granted to only the most advanced, energy efficient window products on the market. Alside is proud to be included with this elite group of qualified manufacturers whose windows qualify for the ENERGY STAR label.
